This unit was put into service on 8/ 1999.This truck was donated to MESS by The Mary Town in Des Plaines. It was donated to them from the Rosemont Fire and Police Dept. This truck was assigned to Lake Zurich for a number of years. After it was replaced by M-3 it became our back up canteen and our supply truck.
It has a crew of 12 and is a back up to all calls. It covers from the:
· Wisconsin state line on the north
· Lake Michigan on the East
· City of Chicago on the South
· Mc Henry County on the West.
