M-4 - This truck is stationed at North Chicago Station 2

This unit was put into service in the North East corner of the response area.

 After receiving a grant for a new Haz-Mat truck the MABAS division 3 Chief’s Association donated this unit and we put it into service in 2003.

 Most of the funds to rebuild this truck came from a grant from Sam’s Club of Gurnee.

This truck has a primary response area that covers from:

·        The Wisconsin state line on the North.

·        Mc Henry County on the West

·        Lake Cook Road on the South

·        Lake Michigan Shores on the East.

This unit covers most special teams call outs as well. Such as Swat, crowd control, Haz - Mat and USAR teams.

30 Crew Members are assigned to this vehicle. It is the workhorse of our fleet.
